SBS News showed some footage of the accident. The motorcyclist was going through an intersection when Nichkhun‘car hit him. Nichkhun immediatly stopped his car, called the police and helped the man. He told the police he has drunk by himself. His blood rate of alcoohol was just above the legally rate of 0.05%. The motorcyclist and him decided to settle this through the insurance companies. JYP Entertainment and Nichkhun apologized and showed up their will to cooperate with the authorities. For now, the police investigation hasn’t shown if Nichkhun is the only one to be in fault but the motorcyclist seems to be injured from his back, legs and ears. Nichkhun‘s mum arrived in Korea yesterday to support him.
A lot of netizens have discussed about Nichkhun‘s accident and responsibility since yesterday. We don’t know for the time being which will be the consequences for Nichkhun‘s career. His participation on MBC Idol Star Olympics will not be cut but the most korean famous water park, Carribean Bay, already edited out his picture from their site.
